Introduction - Hospice and Palliative Care for Nurses and Aides
Welcome to Vilca Hospice’s Hospice and Palliative Care for Nurses and Caregivers
This course was created specifically for previously trained Nurses and Aides interested in Hospice, Palliative and end-of-life care, however, is open to Hospice Volunteers and Basic Patient Care trainees.
We offer Three levels of Training – Feel free to take one or all of the Courses
- Hospice Volunteering
- Basic Patient Care for Families, Volunteers and Caregivers
- Hospice and Palliative Care for Nurses and Aides
Bilingual
Our Courses have been created to be bilingual.
- You can change the language for the entire site with the link in the top right of the site header.
- The videos are available mostly on Youtube. You can change the sub-titles by clicking the “Settings” tab on the video, then “Sub-titles” and looking for “Auto-Generated or Auto-Translate”, then choose your preferred language.
- Some documents have been Google Translated into Spanish.
In-Person Training
When you have completed the On-line Courses, you will qualify to attend one of our In-person Trainings. You will be notified of the Training dates.
Certificate of Completion
When you have completed the Courses, including In Person Training, you will be able to print out a frameable Certificate of Completion.
